Of all the vehicles I would choose to drive around in post-snowstorm slush, an old, light, rust-prone, presumably RWD pickup would not be my first choice. This B2000 in particular looks to be in very good condition, so the owner must take good care of it. Cool little truck. I’m digging the wheels.

I drove a ‘93 Ranger for ten years before it died unceremoniously in my driveway - hence the screen name.

Been jonesing for another small pickup ever since. The Jetta that replaced the Danger Ranger is nice, but it just don’t scratch the itch, know what I mean? A Mazda like that would work just fine, maaaaan.

I’m not sure. I have a ‘96 Ranger 2wd for beater/hauler duty. It gets parked in a grassy spot next to the driveway in the winter so it doesn’t get plowed in. The other day I went to drive it to the hardware store and it went all one-wheel wonder and proceeded to get stuck in the slightest patch of mud. I had to pull it out.

I’ve had three small trucks thus far. My second automobile was an ‘82 Chevy S-10 Durango, long bed with the 2.8L V6 and automatic. My next truck was an ‘89 Toyota, 22R with a 4-speed, dropped to the ground with a set of blocks. My grandfather disliked that truck and the speeding tickets, so he traded it in for a ‘90 Toyota extended cab with an automatic. All of them were 2WD and awesome.
